Wallace, Robert (Bertie) 2nd October 2022. Dearly beloved husband of the late Madeline Wallace formerly of Thornleigh Drive and 11 Whitla Road, Lisburn. Much loved father of Roy, Marian, Billy, Ken, Raymond, Terry and Sarah, father-in-law of Pamela, Trevor, Gloria and David. A devoted and much loved granda of Gareth, fiancée Marie, Natasha, husband Luke, Carly, husband Adam, Lauren, husband Rob, Erin, partner Harry, Jordan, partner Natasha, Chloe, husband Adam, Shannon, Kira, James and Ryan. Granda Bertie of Bobbie, Shaw, Willow, Harland, Ivy, Solomon, Albie, Rathlan, Isla, Sonny and Kaiden. Dearest brother of Kenneth and brother-in-law of Phyllis, uncle of Anita and husband Mark, great-uncle of Shannon (Australia) and uncle of Brian (Thailand). Funeral service in Christ Church Derriaghy, Derriaghy Road, Lisburn on Thursday 6th October 2022 at 2.00 pm. Burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. Family and friends will be made welcome at his home 11, Whitla Road, Lisburn BT28 3PR. Will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his sons, daughters and family circle at home and abroad. A wonderful father with a heart of gold, few in this world his equal to hold, he shared all our troubles and helped us along, if we walk in his footsteps we will never go wrong.
